WAX VS SEALANTS VS CERAMIC COATING
WAX
Wax is a naturally derived from the carnauba plant. It will add great gloss to your car’s paint, but since it’s a natural material, it will not withstand the heat of the sun. As a result, waxes generally last only 6-8 weeks. Car Bath only uses wax upon special request.
SEALANT
Sealants are synthetic man-made protectants that are engineered to withstand heat and UV radiation from the sun. Sealants also add gloss and hydrophobic properties to your paint. We use synthetic sealants as our base form of protection.
CERAMIC COATING
Coatings are a nano-ceramic liquid applied to your car’s surface inch-by-inch. Unlike waxes and sealants that sit on top of the clear coat, ceramic coating physically bonds to the clear coat. This creates an extremely smooth surface, providing ease of maintenance and the UV inhibitors provide the best protection from the sun.
